Making a Lifecast

After failing with the swimmers cap, we wrapped her head in saran (plastic) wrap, secured with duct tape. It stuck with no problems to the plastic, but didn't like the duct tape much.
We persevered and got a coat on. Once it was starting to set, and it wasn't dripping, we put another, thicker coat on. This stuff goes from "perfect working condition" to "oops I'm too sticky so you can't work with me anymore" really quick, so work fast!

When we had a thick enough coat on (about 1/4 inch thick) we wrapped it with plaster bandages (the kind they wrap broken bones in) to create a support mold.
